Future Royals 3 

Welcome to the Future Royals 3 group and welcome back for the start of the 2024-2025 Short Course season! My name is Heather Streett and I’m excited to be working with the Future Royal 3’s this year!  I am starting my 30th year with SSC and will continue to follow Coach Blake’s equation of Kicking + Skills + Fun = Blazing Fast Swimming!!  I am looking forward to getting to know your kids better! Every season since I started with SSC, it has always been my goal to know everyone by name before the end of the first practice and we will also make sure the kids know each other as well!  I hope they are excited and ready to start!! 

Please make sure swimmers have their swimming equipment they need for training-they can leave their mesh bag at the pool or take it home each practice. Please make sure that their items are labeled with their name with a Sharpie. Now is a great time to check and see if anything needs to be replaced (fins too small?, snorkel broken?).  Here is the link to the training gear needed.

On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, we will be doing dryland before getting into the pool. They need to have dryland clothes ready to wear- I would prefer them to wear an SSC shirt, shorts OR athletic pants over their suit. They will need to have tennis shoes in order to participate in dryland activities. NO CROCS (EVEN IN “SPORT MODE”) WILL BE ALLOWED.

ADDITIONAL ANNOUNCEMENTS  

We are going to be doing BLUE FRIDAY’S again this year! Each Friday, please have your athlete show their ROYAL PRIDE by sporting either a blue shirt/sweatshirt or an SSC/HSE Swimming shirt!
