JUNIOR ROYAL 4 - Pre-Season

Good Evening Everyone!

Welcome to another year with SSC! I am SO EXCITED to be working with the Junior Royal 4 group this coming season and beyond! When I was asked about this role to begin with, my first thought was about all of you kids and how much change there has been over the last few years. I realized very quickly that I wanted to take the role for this very reason...so that you all had a familiar face to come into every day and work hard with and for every day! My second reason was I wanted the same thing for the rest of the club kids, a familiar face, someone who knew all of their names as well as them knowing mine. 

This season, you and I are going to focus on 3 things.... becoming the best kickers in the state, skill aquisition and refinement and finally having FUN. My biggest belief is the swimmers that can find a way to have a balance of challenging themselves and pushing themselves to the next level while also having fun doing it....those are the ones that become GREAT swimmers and achieve the goals they want to achieve. 

As a reminder we have practice this week, Wednesday 6-7:15p as well as Thursday and Friday 4:45p-6:00p. These practices will be very technique focused. Please let me know if you have any questions!

ADDITIONAL ANNOUNCEMENTS 

• I will be scheduling PAC meetings with each swimmer over the next couple of weeks please be on the lookout for a sign up in the next few days. My plan is to have one at the beginning of the season for each swimmer mostly for me to listen to the swimmer and parents, and then schedule a second one at about the half way point of the season as a check in and feedback meeting
